Mixed languages in one chat
Each bubble takes its direction from its own text, so a Hebrew message, an Arabic reply and an English link can follow each other and all read correctly. Names are isolated so they don't pull the rest of the line around.
Dates in any format
Exports from phones set to Hebrew, Arabic (including Arabic-Indic digits), English, German, Spanish, Portuguese, Indonesian and many other languages are recognised, with 12-hour or 24-hour time.
The interface speaks your language
The converter and this site are available in Hebrew and Arabic with a right-to-left layout, and in English, Spanish, Portuguese, German and Indonesian.
How it works
- Export the chat from WhatsApp on your phone, with or without media.
- Open the .zip or .txt file in Convobook. Nothing is uploaded.
- Read and search it, then save it as PDF, HTML, Excel or CSV.

What you get
Stays on your device
There is no server behind the converter, and the page's security policy blocks every network connection. You can even turn off Wi-Fi after it opens.
Android and iPhone
Reads exports from both, in many languages and date formats, including multi-line messages and group events.
Chat-bubble PDF
Names, dates, photos and stickers in the conversation, a cover page and page numbers.
HTML archive
One file that opens in any browser, with the photos inside and a search box.
Excel and CSV
One row per message with real dates and times, plus statistics per person.
Merge, search, filter
Join several exports without duplicates, search words, and pick a person or a date range.
Questions
Will the Excel file be right-to-left?
When most messages are in Hebrew or Arabic, the sheet is set to right-to-left, so it opens the natural way.
Do I need special fonts?
No. The PDF uses the fonts already on your device, and all common systems include Hebrew, Arabic and emoji fonts.
Are my messages uploaded?
No. Convobook runs in your browser. The converter page is not allowed to send data anywhere, and it keeps working offline.
What does it cost?
Reading the whole chat and exporting the first 100 messages is free. A 30-day pass costs $9 and a lifetime key costs $19, paid once.
Which chats can I convert?
Chats you exported yourself from your own WhatsApp. Please respect the privacy of the other people in the conversation.
